SEEKING SOLITUDE

(2020, pre-pandemic documentary)

Sometimes we seek solitude and try to separate ourselves from the crowd. Living in Sydney can be overwhelming, we are always surrounded by people, constant movement and noise. Those little moments when we are by ourselves, during a walk to work early in the morning or during a break-are rare and important. Those images show getting through the day and escaping the ocean, which for me, is a way to find the balance and be alone with this never-ending space. My photos were inspired by Hiroharu Matsumoto, Alan Schaller and Luc Kordas.
